What Is A Zip and Link Bed?
A zip and link bed is essentially one large bed that can be easily separated into two single beds. The two mattresses are easily attached together via the use of a centre zip. The bed bases are connected together with linking bars, this provides the option of either one larger bed or two separate twin beds - an extremely useful feature which can quickly and easily transform a guest room.
What Are The Benefits Of A Zip and Link Bed?
There are a number of benefits to the zip and link beds – this type of bed offers excellent flexibility as a king or super king sized bed can be made into two good sized single beds as and when required, transforming a double room into a twin room with great ease.
Access during transportation is improved as the zip and link bed is much easier to move around than a larger double bed – this is especially useful in buildings where stairways or doorways are tight as larger bed can cause transportation complications. Both the zip and link bed and the zip and link mattress make it easier to deliver and assemble in one bedroom.

The zips on the mattress are located around the side and cannot be felt.
What Type Of Zip and Link Beds Do We Stock?
The Divan bed bases are already built with easy to assemble linking bars and feet. Choose from a range of fabric colour and drawer storage options. Headboards are not included with the bed sets but can be ordered separately and fitted to any model. - 6'6 inches long (198cm length)
Please note: our standard size divan beds do not have zips to link them together.
